The queue lines at the farmer's bazaars led a farmer to leave his life in the wake of rising onion prices. Sambaiah(65), an old man who had been waiting in a queue for subsidized onions, died at a farmer's bazaar in Gudivada of Krishna district.

He was in the queue from early this morning to buy onions and went into unconscious state after standing for hours in the queue. The neighbours rushed him to the hospital immediately. Doctors have revealed that he has already died of a heart attack.

People gathered in Vijayawada for a government subsidized onion at the local Bhavanipuram Farmer's Bazaar, a special counter was opened at 7 am today. The organizers assures they would provide onions to everyone. Customers were asked to set up a few more onion outlets.
