Experimental classes help students gain knowledge
A week-long experimental classes were organised for high school students in physical science on the topic ‘light and its properties’ at Sri Putchalapalli Sunderaiah (SPS) Municipal High School here.
Vijayawada: A week-long experimental classes were organised for high school students in physical science on the topic 'light and its properties' at Sri Putchalapalli Sunderaiah (SPS) Municipal High School here. The programme was organised by the district science coordinator Mynam Hussain.
The chief guest of the programme was Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) Bhavanipuram state project officer Dilleswarao.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that these kinds of sessions would benefit the students in gaining more knowledge on the subject. These sessions would motivate the students and create interest on the subject as physical science was a difficult and one of the important subjects. He appreciated the organiser and the head master of the school for taking such initiative.
Hussain said this programme was conducted for all class students to improve their science knowledge for all competitive exams in their life and most of students feel physical science is difficult subject. He said that the students learn the subject by experiment was an easy way on the topics like properties of light, reflection, refraction, TIR, diffraction, dispersion of light and shining of diamond, mirages, optical fibers, rainbow colours, light properties. School HM D Mohan and others were present.
