Eluru: Joint Collector K Venkata Ramana Reddy has directed the officials to pay adequate compensation to the land owners for the land acquisition in the district for distribution of house site pattas. He conducted a review meeting with the officials at the Collectorate on Tuesday and enquired about the progress of land acquisition and payment of compensation.
He urged the officials to maintain transparency in the records regarding the payment of compensation. He said the state government was determined to distribute the house site pattas to the eligible poor by Ugadi.
He made it clear that the officials have register the details very clearly without any mistakes and errors and instructed that all land owners must get compensation as per norms. He said the land owners must not suffer loss due to the land acquisition in the district and asked them maintain the web data on payments.
Joint Collector -2 N Tej Bharat, DRO S Srinivasa Murthy, superintendents of various sections in the collectors and other officials participated in the meeting.
