Eight tanks to be rejuvenated in Nagari

Tirupati: Nagari MLA R K Roja on Monday performed Bhumi puja at Nindra in Nagari constituency for the rejuvenation of 8 irrigation tanks worth Rs 5.56 crore. Under JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), the rejuvenation and linking of 8 tanks were taken up in Nindra mandal including the one at Nindra, the mandal headquarter, Roja said adding that the

development of tanks that were long back constructed by Kings would help enhance storage capacity of tanks for the benefit of farmers.
