E-Transport permit system inspected

Narasaraopet: Agricultural Marketing Commissioner P Ravi Subhash visited the check post on Markapur Road under the jurisdiction of the Vinukonda Agricultural Market Committee on Wednesday. He inspected the implementation of the E-Transport Permit system introduced as part of the Marketing Department’s digitalisation drive and enquired with officials about its field-level operational efficiency.

Expressing satisfaction with the system’s execution, the Commissioner stated that the E-Transport Permit system will enhance transparency and provide greater convenience to both farmers and traders.

He later visited the Vinukonda Agricultural Market Yard. During the visit, AMC Chairman Meesala Murali Krishna Yadav submitted a request seeking the sanction of funds for infrastructure development and various facility upgrades at the yard. Responding positively, the Commissioner assured that the proposals would be thoroughly examined and necessary action taken. Vinukonda MLA G V Anjaneyulu, Palnadu District Marketing Department Assistant Director K V N Upendra Kumar, and Yard Secretary S Srinivasa Rao were also present during the programme.
