Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has said that government has introduced several welfare schemes for uplifting the living standards of poor and marginal families in the state.

He distributed cheques worth Rs 8.60 lakhs relating to Chief Minister's Relief Fund to 14 beneficiaries here on Friday. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, he said that Chief Minister is keen to allocate funds for the development of state giving top priority to education and health sectors.

But the leaders of opposition parties have been making statements only to mislead the people, he said. He said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed to fulfil all promises given to the people during 2019 elections.

The deputy chief minister urged the people to extend their support to the government to introduce more welfare schemes. On this occasion, he conducted Praja Darbar at his camp office. Party leaders Ahmad Basha, SK Akram and others were present.
