Customers advised to utilise outreach programme by banks in Ongole
The customers of all banks and people who require loans are being encouraged to visit the outreach program being held at Markapuram and Ongole on October 5 and 7 respectively, and utilize various loan offers by the banks.

In the press meet held in Zonal Office, Andhra Bank general manager, HO, Hyderabad, KSD Varaprasad explained that the union finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman organized a meeting with the heads of all banks and nonbanking finance enterprises recently and directed them to conduct customer outreach programs from October 3 to 7, to offer loans to customers to pump cash into the market, which is suffering from inflation for a while.
He said that as per the instructions of the minister, they are organizing an outreach program in Markapuram on October 5 at Madhavi Grand Inn and another program in Ongole on October 7 at Bachala Balaiah Kalyana Mandapam.
He announced that they have put a target to distribute Rs 500 crores as loans in all 480 branches of 28 banks in the district. He asked the public to visit the program at Markapuram or Ongole between 10.00 AM and 07.00 PM to know about various loan offers by the banks and nonbanking finance enterprises and clarify their doubts on the eligibility and others.
He announced that the banks will also conduct an awareness program on digital frauds and explain about the measures to be taken to not fall prey to them. The Andhra Bank Ongole zonal manager P Ramakrishna and other managers also participated in the program.
In another program, the Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute director GS Murthy announced that the trainees from their institute are eligible to receive various loans including agriculture, vehicle, micro, small and medium enterprises.
He asked the trainees, no matter how long ago they have taken the training, to utilize the outreach programs at Markapuram and Ongole and apply for loans.
