The third convocation of Dr YSR Horticulture University was organised in a grand manner at Venkataramannagudem here on Monday.
Tadepalligudem: The third convocation of Dr YSR Horticulture University was organised in a grand manner at Venkataramannagudem here on Monday. Vice-Chancellor Chiranjeev Choudhary presided over the convocation meeting. Tadepalligudem MLA K Satyanarayana and Gopalapuram MLA T Venkatrao attended as chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Choudhary said that 19 horticulture research centres in the state have been striving hard to help farmer get benefited from the horticulture crops. Experiential learning programme was introduced in the syllabus for B Sc final year students of the university.
Training classes have been organised to create employment in horticulture sector for the youth of rural areas, he added. He presented degrees to the students on the occasion.
