College students found with E-Cigarettes in Vijayawada

The central government has banned e-cigarettes it from 18th of last month. However, in the capital city Vijayawada, sales and purchases continue to be high. The eruption of e-cigarettes emerged when the task force was attacked by police at a college in the city. It was also revealed that the students were also using marijuana as well. Currently, the ban on manufacturing, importing, exporting, selling, storing, distributing and propagating is in effect.

Students in engineering and autonomous universities in the suburbs of Vijayawada are already intoxicated. Recently, police seized a large quantity of marijuana. At trial it turned out to have been shipped for students. More worrying is the recent e-cigarette sale and consumption is being done by students.

Common cigarettes include chemicals such as nicotine, acetone, amnesia, arsenic, benzene, butane, cadmium, carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide, methanol, naphthalene, nickel, propane, stearic acid, etc., directly on the human body. The e-cigarette is called the Electronic Nicotine Delivery System (ENDS).

It contains not only nicotine but also a chemical called propylene glycol. Doctors say it is cancerous. The liquid nicotine is in the electronic device. The battery is fitted to device. The battery ignites nicotine when inhaled, which leads to respiratory illnesses. There is a risk of high blood pressure, heart attack and other complications and it is difficult to get out. There are drugs available to stop this. The use of nicotic patch along with nicotic chewing gum may be of some benefit to the doctors.
