College student gang-raped in East Godavari district

In a horrific incident, four men have allegedly gang-raped a young woman, who is studying Degree and attacked her friend in East Godavari district.

According to the police, the woman and her friend went out after completing a college programme on the bike. While on their way, they stopped at a brick kiln near Sangampunta colony and were talking to each other.

The four men noticed them, approached and attacked her friend. Later, they took turns in raping her. The incident came into light when the victim lodged a complaint with the police on Wednesday. On receiving the complaint, the police registered a case and investigating further.
