Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked the District Collectors and Superintendents of Police to meet every Tuesday and have a coffee together.

During a review meeting on the Spandana programme, Jagan asked the bureaucrats to engage in continuous meetings for resolving various issues on Tuesday at the secretariat.

Reacting on the law and order problems associated with the land disputes, the Chief Minister stated that if the officials could reduce the crime rate by focusing on this area.

Both Collectors and SPs must meet on Tuesday to share the information on land disputes and to find solutions to them. The same information must be sent to the Tehsildars on Wednesday. Based on the information descended from district level to Mandal level, the officials at the bottom of the administrative machinery including Tehsildar, Sub Inspector of Police, Surveyor, Revenue Inspector, Village Revenue Officer and others must meet on Thursday. All these officials must solve the land disputes at every Mandal level, Jagan explained the detailed plan of action.

The Chief Minister stated that he would not allow any time of corruption at any stage in the government and urged the officials to follow it strictly.

Fine quality rice will be distributed to the public in the month of September, through the Public Distribution System. Hence, Jagan asked the officials to ensure all arrangements for that and the pilot project to be rolled out in Srikakulam.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 52 crore to construct a project on Chitravati.
