CM Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan pay tribute to APJ Abdul Kalam
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan have paid tribute to the former President and Bharat Ratna awardee A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary.
Naidu in his post on X called him a rare personality and offered his condolences to the people of Rameswaram. The Chief Minister hailed the former President as a visionary who provided fresh directions to India’s nuclear and technology domains. He asked people to remember his humanitarian contributions to the nation and society at large.
Pawan Kalyan also paid rich tributes to the Father of the Nation, calling him a self-made man, who came from humble surroundings and reached incredible heights in life. He said Dr. Kalam’s journey from being a poor student to a revered scientist and People’s President inspired generations.
He said Kalam’s work, which started as distributing newspapers at a young age, led to his guiding India’s indigenous SLV-III launch vehicle, and Agni and Prithvi missile programmes, and contributing to Pokhran-II tests and Technology Vision 2020 roadmap, was an incredible journey.
“Dr. Kalam’s life’s work and vision will continue to inspire millions of Indians to pursue their ambitions and dreams, no matter what their socio-economic background may be,” said Pawan. He said Kalam’s journey teaches us that “there is no such thing as impossible”, and that setbacks and failures can be overcome with resilience and determination. He called upon people across the state to follow his example, uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution of India, and dedicate their lives to serving the nation and promoting its interests.
“Dr. Kalam’s legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of Indians as we strive to make our nation a global leader in science and technology,” he said. “His vision of a developed India will be realized through the collective efforts of all Indians, especially the youth, who are determined to achieve our nation’s dreams and ambitions.”
