Vijayawada: Arjuna Awardee and Vijayawada Archer Vennam Jyothi Surekha representing PSPB won Gold Medal in ranking round at the ongoing 39th Senior Nationals held in Odisha. Surekha scored 706/720 in 50+50 ranking round.
Her score 706 is a new Indian record in Nationals and she scored 706 /720 surpassing the previous National record which was 703.
Surekha also scored 706 in the World Cup held in Turkey last year. Surekha created 706/720 record and 355/360 single 50 ranking round record.
