Chandrababu Naidu have not denied the charges over ESI scam: Botsa Satyanarayana
Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana denied that the government is vindictive but has been going as per the rule book and even TDP leadership has never said that there was no scam which shows their guilt.
Amaravati: Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana denied that the government is vindictive but has been going as per the rule book and even TDP leadership has never said that there was no scam which shows their guilt. Speaking to media here on Friday, he said neither Chandrababu Naidu nor TDP members are denying the irregularities that took place or the charges leveled, but have been harping on the arrest dubbing it as illegal, which is not as all procedures were followed.
Chandrababu Naidu is lamenting over the arrest of Atchannaidu, but he is not condemning the corruption charges. Without ruling out the allegations, Naidu is playing caste politics by using the BC card. He should understand that everyone is equal before the law, irrespective of their caste, creed, and their social status.
"We are not holding any grudge against the TDP members, it is Vigilance officials who unearthed the scam of about Rs 404.86 Crore and ACB officials confirmed that Rs 150 Crore misappropriation has taken place. If Naidu feels that it is illegal, he can approach the court for justice," he added.
He further said that there are numerous scams and irregularities that took place during the TDP regime and slowly they are coming out based on investigations and enquiries. "We have already ordered for a CBI inquiry over the irregularities in Chandranna Kanuka, followed by which many more scams will be revealed. People were fed up with the TDP rule and their corruption, so they have given us a chance to provide good governance and prove their corruption.
We could save Rs 1500-2500 Crores in the Bhogapuram airport with the same developer agreeing to reduce the extent of land. This is because of the vision of our Chief Minister. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his committed to the welfare of backward classes and weaker sections which are evident by the welfare schemes he ahs been implementing."
