Kadapa: MP Avinash Reddy said that development of Badvel took place during the regime of former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and he was responsible for solving the drinking water problem and ensuring irrigation water for agriculture in Badvel constituency.

The MP along with Kadapa Mayor K Suresh, Jammalamadugu MLA M Sudheer Reddy and Srikalahasti MLA Madhusudhan Reddy took part in campaigning at Veerapunayuni Palle, Kotha Cheruvu, Sidhagari Palle, Nandipalle, Mallampet and Tiruvengala puram villages of Badvel rural mandal on Sunday.

Avinash Reddy pointed out that YSR's son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy sanctioned Rs 780 crore for the all-round development of Badvel constituency during the last two-and-half years.

Hence, he urged the people to cast their votes in favour of YSR Congress party candidate Dr D Sudha in the ensuing by-election to Badvel Assembly constituency. The MP said that the BJP has no moral right to seek votes as it has done nothing for the State.

Kadapa Mayor K Suresh Babu said that AP is the only State in the entire country which was implementing welfare schemes in a big way despite facing serious financial hurdles.

He urged the people to cast their votes in favor of YCSRP for speedy development of Badvel constituency. Party leaders Rama Subba Reddy, P Venkateswara Reddy, Chinna Poli Reddy and others were present.
