AP, Telangana to see rains next three days Ami cyclonic circulation
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to see rains in the next three days as a cyclonic circulation has developed over eastern Telangana and nearby North Coastal Andhra.
The circulation formed on Thursday at an altitude of 4.5 km. The weather change will cause light to moderate rains in some areas of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, and isolated rains over Telangana.
Moderate rains are likely over some areas of Alluri Sitarama Raju, Polavaram, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Krishna, Palnadu, Markapuram, Prakasam, Nellore, Annamayya, Chittoor and Tirupati districts on Saturday, the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority said.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said a low-pressure system would likely form over the south-eastern Bay of Bengal on 13th of this month. The system will move over the southern Bay of Bengal and may strengthen by November 15.
While the chances of the system developing into a deep depression are very low, very heavy rains are likely over some areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala between 12-18 November, the IMD said in its two-week forecast.
