AP High Court reserves verdict on Naidu's regular bail plea in skill development case
Andhra Pradesh High Court heard the petition on the regular bail petition filed by the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development case.
Andhra Pradesh High Court has completed the arguments in the regular bail petition filed by former Chief Minister and TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu in the Skill development case and reserved the verdict.
Additional AG Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy presented the arguments on behalf of the CID, while Senior Advocate Siddhartha Luthra represented TDP chief Chandrababu and made counter arguments. The TDP has also submitted the health report of Chandrababu Naidu in the High Court quoting that the latter had to take rest for sometime as specified by the doctors.
Chandrababu approached the High Court after the Vijayawada ACB Court dismissed the petition filed for bail in this case. It may be recalled that the High Court granted four weeks interim bail on October 31 due to ill health.
In the hearing held that day, senior advocates Siddhartha Luthra and Dammalapati Srinivas on behalf of Chandrababu presented arguments on the interim bail petition as well as the regular bail petition.
Meanwhile, the verdict on the TDP chief's quash petition filed in the Supreme Court is likely to be announced in the month ending. Naidu who was on interim bail has undergone eye surgery at LV Prasad Eye Hospital in Hyderabad.
