Andhra University V-C stresses on revamping syllabus
There is a need to revamp the existing syllabus and transform the youth into human resources through skill development, Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G Nageswara Rao has said on Friday.
Visakhapatnam: There is a need to revamp the existing syllabus and transform the youth into human resources through skill development, Andhra University Vice-Chancellor G Nageswara Rao has said on Friday.
Addressing a gathering who participated in the Board of Studies meeting held here at Dr.YVS Murthi Auditorium, AU College of Engineering, he said that in order to keep pace with the emerging trends, syllabus will keep changing every three years once.
Further, the V-C added that the international standards should be kept in view while revamping the curriculum. He underlined the need to bring out the academic calendar. AU Rector M Prasada Rao stressed on the importance of updated curriculum. Registrar T Byragi Reddy said that environmental sciences should become a part of every course. Academic Dean MVR Raju also spoke.
