Adopt strict guidelines during relaxation says Nellore Municipal Commissioner T Bapi Reddy

Nellore: City Municipal Commissioner T Bapi Reddy said that it is the responsibility of the management of malls, temples, theatres, hotels, and commercial establishments to maintain social distancing and containment guidelines for preventing the spread of the Covid-19 in the city.

He held a review meeting along with the City DSP J Srinivasulu Reddy on Monday and said all people should clean their hands at the temples, theatres, hotels, and all commercial places with sanitiser.

People with masks have to be allowed into the shops after thermal screening as part of a preventive measure, he said.

He said social distancing has to be maintained strictly at the shops and establishments.

He said the lifts, elevators to be operated by the specially trained staff members for following the guidelines.

He said all worship places should have separate entrances for entering and for exit, preventing mass gathering.

Staff members at the hotels and restaurants should wear face masks and gloves, he added.
