8 persons arrested on the charges of transporting red sander logs

Kadapa: Police recovered total Rs 9lakhs worth red sander logs and a car by arresting 5 Tamil Nadu woodcutters and car owner, two locals at Kannelavagu forest area on Tuesday.

Police said following credible information availing from some identified persons they have conducted raids as they arrested the accused while illegally transporting the red sander longs.

A case has been registered by Mydukur police.
