Gangavaram Port Limited conducted a mega medical camp in HB Colony Community Hall, Pedagantyada mandal on Sunday.
Visakhapatnam: Gangavaram Port Limited conducted a mega medical camp in HB Colony Community Hall, Pedagantyada mandal on Sunday. Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagi Reddy inaugurated the camp in the presence of Sambasiva Rao, CEO, V Janardhan Rao, COO, B Balakrishna, Vice President, Vigilance (R&R and Security), L P S Ramu Naidu, Vice President (R&R and Security) and along with staff members of Gangavaram Port attended in the programme in addition to eminent doctors from Vizag.
The camp which started from 9 am onwards had a well-qualified panel of doctors who examined the patients. The panel included the following doctors: Dr Simhachalam, General Surgeon & Surgical Gastroenterologist, Dr D Rakesh, (Cardiology),Dr G Sathyanarayana, (Children Specialist), Dr K Sathyanarayana, (Ortho), Dr P Usha Devi, (Gynecologist), Dr Phanindranath Reddy, (Pulmonary Medicine), Dr D Sunitha, (General Physician), Dr D Vidhyasagar Rao, (General Medicine), Dr D Sai Sathyanarayana, (General Physician), Dr D Seshulatha, (General Physician), Dr K Srinivas Rao, Medical Officer Gangavaram Port.
Total 460 persons were examined and treated by doctors in the camp. Medicines & reports were distributed free of cost. This campaign got tremendous support from the Burma colony, Corada colony, Nadipuru, Sitapuram villagers since this is fourth mega medical camp in the same village.
According to Gangavaram Port management "This camp is organised as part of CSR programme to ensure wellbeing of our neighbourhood. The free camp services are especially offered to the needy patients who cannot afford quality healthcare services. We aim to improve the health of general public & help reduce the prevalent sickness in the surrounding areas."
