14 red sander logs seized, one smuggler held in Kancharla forest

Taskforce officials have seized 14 red sander logs by arresting one smuggler at Kancharla forest area late night on Thursday. The accused was identified as Y Mallikarjuna Reddy (35) Tuvvapalli village of Mydukuru Mandal. According to the R S I K Ravi kumar following tip-off task force officials conducted raids at Kancharla forest area while occurring heavy rain they attacked 15 smugglers carrying red sander logs. However, 14 were managed to escape from the incident place by pelting stones at the police. However, police able to arrest a local smuggler (Mallikarjuna Reddy). Taskforce police registered the case and sent the accused to remand.
