110 crore to be distributed to 4.62 lakh beneficiaries today: Collector

Chittoor: Stage has been set to distribute Rs.110.29 crore towards Y S R Pension Scheme covering 4.62 lakh beneficiaries on July 8, on the occasion of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's birth anniversary, according to District Collector Narayan Bharath Guptha.

All the beneficiaries under the said scheme will receive their pension amount invariably on Monday, he added . Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, he said that instructions were given to the concerned authorities to distribute the pension due to all the beneficiaries on Monday without fail.

``In fact, pension amount is set to be distributed on first every month. It is decided to distribute the same on the occasion of Dr Rajasekhara Reddy's birth anniversary," the Collector stated.

Hectic exercise has been done to distribute Rs.47.83 crore for 2.02 lakh old age persons; Rs.39.63 crore for 1.71 lakhs widow women; Rs.16.58 crore for 53,663 disabled candidates on Monday, he said.

Narayan Bharath further said that Rythu Dinotsavam will be celebrated in all Assembly constituencies in the district on the same day in which the elected representatives of the district like Ministers , MLAs and MLCs will take part. Assets will be distributed to the farmers on the occasion of Rythu Dinotsavam in which the officials of Agriculture and it's allied departments will take part.
