ZPTC Manjula inaugurated mandal-level cricket tournament in Tandur

Tandur: ZPTC G Manjula said sports promote fraternity apart from providing mental peace. She inaugurated mandal-level cricket tournament in Narayanpur village on Sunday. The tourney is being organised by Uppari Raju, the president of Vivekananda Youth Association.

Manjula hailed the organisers for conducting cricket tournament in other rural areas. Guests of honour CI Jalandhar Reddy, sarpanch of the village Chandrappa and PAC chairman of Velmakanne Ravi Goud urged the youth to keep away from bad habits and contribute to development of villages. Raju informed that 40 teams have been registered for the participation and the winner would get Rs 12, 000 and runner-up Rs 6,000. SI Chandrasekhar, members of Vivekananda Youth Association were also present.
