Zaheerabad: Villagers oppose new industries

Zaheerabad: The residents of Kothur (B) voiced concern over the setting up of a distillery plant in their village. Formel India Pvt Ltd is planning to set up a molasses-based distillery plant on the outskirts of the village.

District Industries Centre officials conducted a public opinion survey here on Friday. The villages said they had already been suffering from the existing factories. They said new companies would add more woes to their suffering.
