Warangal: Target set to achieve 100% results in SSC
Warangal: The headmasters need to chalk out an action plan to achieve 100 percent results in SSC, Warangal Rural District Collector M Haritha said. Speaking at a meeting here on Wednesday, she told the headmasters to organize special classes for the SSC students to prepare them to face examinations competently.
"Special impetus should be given on students, who are lagging behind in academics. The teachers need to adopt students not doing well subject-wise. The onus is on teachers to ensure these students to pick up before the annual examinations," the Collector said. She told the officials to conduct pre-finals from December 18 and focus on students' performance individually. She directed the headmasters to conduct parent committee meetings at regular intervals so that to make them understand the academic improvement of their wards.
"10/10 GPA should be the target of the headmasters and teachers. There was an imperative need for focusing on English, Mathematics and Science subjects," Haritha said. She directed the officials to depute special tutors to improve the standards of students residing in welfare hostels.
The headmasters need to be proactive in ensuring maximum attendance of the students," the Collector said. Later, she elicited information about the problems in schools. Warangal Rural District Education Officer D Vasanthi, DCEB Secretary M Pattabhi and headmasters of various schools were among others present.
