Warangal: In a bid to bring awareness among the people about the welfare and developmental programmes implemented by the TRS government, Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar on Friday launched Praja Sankshema Pragathi Yatra in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinay said that Telangana which introduced umpteen number of schemes and programmes has become a beacon for the other States in the country.

The Chief Whip said that TRS Working President KT Rama Rao has assured the highest number of nominated posts to the party workers belonging to Warangal West constituency. Cadres need to gear up for the ensuing elections to the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), Vinay said. It's time for the cadres to hit back at the Opposition leaders' misinformation.

We are ready for the debate on Warangal development. The BJP should also reveal its development agenda being carried in other States ruled by that party, Vinay said. He found fault with the BJP leaders for not talking about the dues to be paid by the Centre to Telangana.

"It's not fair to run politics by bringing division among the people," Vinay said accusing the BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar of provoking people in the name of religion.

During his yatra, Vinay laid foundation stones for several development works with an estimated cost of Rs 5 crore. Senior leader Gundu Sudharani, corporators Vaddiraj Ganesh and Gundu Ashritha Reddy were among others present.
