Wanaparthy: Two road accident victims get aid under CMRF

Wanaparthy: Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy has come to the rescue of two persons who were severely injured in various road accidents, by handing over the Letters of Consent (LoCs) from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund towards their medical expenses. The relatives of Shankar of Gouridevipally and Mohammad Rafique of Revallly in Pebbair mandal respectively, received the LoCs on Friday.

According to sources, Shankar, a daily wager was grievously injured in a road accident and was hospitalised. As his financial position was grim, he approached the Minister and sought his help for paying the medical bills. The Minister immediately sought the release of funds for Shankar and handed over LoC for Rs 2 lakh.

Similarly, Mohammad Rafique was also injured in a road accident on National Highway 44 a few days ago. As Rafique is the sole bread winner, the family members were left with no option but to sought help from the Agriculture Minister. The Minister soon released an LoC for Rs 2 lakh for the treatment of Rafique.
