Vikarabad ZP chief: Pending works will be cancelled

Vikarabad: ZP Chairperson Sunitha Reddy announced that the pending works in the district has been identified and would be cancelled. She held a review meeting with the Panchayati raj engineers at ZP office on Wednesday.

CEO Srikanth Reddy and EE Manohar Rao have been ordered to prepare a report about which village has works under pending. She enquired with the engineers about the work that was previously sanctioned by the erstwhile Zilla Parishad. She said that several works would be pending due to various reasons. These works would be cancelled and new works would be granted wherever necessary, she added.

If the work was not completed within the stipulated time period, it would be cancelled, the ZP Chairperson warned. Officials were asked to adhere to quality standards in the construction of roads, sewers and buildings. ZPTC Vice-Chairman Vijay Kumar, ZP Deputy CEO Krishna, EEs Rajaratnam, Gopinath, Sudarshan Reddy, Raj Mohan, Laxman Rao, Laxman Rao, Umesh Kumar were present.
