Vaktha, an awesome training programme: participants
Hyderabad: The participants of Vaktha programme, described their training as 'awesome' experience after attending a two-day training session on public speaking. They found the tips provided by experts as important and significant for grooming themselves to face huge audience.
The training programme jointly organised by HMTV and Kaushalya School of Life Skills on September 14 & 15 inspired scores of aspiring politicians, social workers and businessmen.
Some of the participants of this 80th batch said that the two-day training brought complete transformation in their attitude and body language and help them to become a good orator.
While expressing satisfaction at the end of training, they termed this training as a life-time experience, which will transform them to become good public speakers.
The Director (Training), Kapil Group and the lead faculty of the programme D Bal Reddy said that the public speaking was a skill, which could only be honed by regular practice. He gave important tips and techniques related to public speaking.
S Anand Parjanya, faculty on body language, trained the participants on maintaining their posture while delivering a speech and communicating at a public place. He explained as to how the orator, should communicate the subject with the coordinating actions of hands.
K Srikanth, another faculty explained important techniques of Voice Modulation, since a good speaker maintains a high tone while delivering the speech. He made students practice some of the important tips and showed how voice culture and modulation can make a person an effective public speaker.
While providing feedback on 2-days training, K Uma Devi felt that the programme helped her keep away from her mobile phone.
She said that the efforts put forth by the team of faculty was worthwhile, as each and every aspect was duly explained, besides making participants introspect about real purpose of life and individual's contribution towards society.
P Shekar another participant was able to shed his inhibitions and overcome stage fear and hoped of becoming a good orator.
Y Naresh found each and every aspect of the training to be inspirational and felt that if he achieves something great, the credit would go for the Vaktha programme.
