Ten sheep killed as wall collapses

Jinnaram: Ten sheep were killed and another 15 were seriously injured when a wall collapsed due to heavy winds and rain in a field located on the outskirts of Lakshmigudem village of Jinnaram mandal on Monday.

As per details, as the heavy winds and rain started suddenly on Monday evening, the owner of the sheep Golla Sattaiah who was shepherding the sheep took them near the wall to take shelter from rain.

Unfortunately, the wall collapsed due to heavy wind, killing ten sheep on the spot and injuring 15 sheep. Sattaiah, however, escaped uninjured. Sattaiah appealed the state government to provide financial assistance as he has lost livelihood.
