Telangana State police bag six medals at All India Police Duty Meet

Hyderabad: Telangana State Police have bagged six medals at the 62nd All India Police Duty Meet- 2018 in Lucknow from July 16 to 20.

The event was organised by the Uttar Pradesh Police which was inaugurated by UP Deputy Chief Minister on July 16. Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath attended the event as the chief guest for the closing ceremony.

Telangana police bagged six medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze at the event. All India Police Duty meet is organized annually by the All India Police Sports Control Board, New Delhi with the aim to improve the standards of professional skills of the police force in India.

Initially it was started as rifle and shooting competition, but gradually various aspects of investigation of crime, particularly those relating to scientific and technical aids to investigation, computer awareness, professional video and photography, Anti-sabotage check and dog competition have been included.
