Telangana Oly body celebrates Olympic Day

Hyderabad: The Telangana Olympic Association (TOA) conducted the Olympic Day celeberations as per the directions of the Indian Olympic Association and the International Olympic Committee on the eve of the World Olympic Day on Tuesday. Every year we used to conduct Olympic Day Run but due to Covid 19 we held the celebrations online.

V.SrinivasGoud, Minister for Sports, who the guest of honour, extended Olympic Day wishes to all the sportsmen and entire sports community of Telangana State. On this occasion, he said that the Government will bring out a sports policy soon as per the directions of the Chief Minister which will be the best in our country and benefit all the sportsmen.

The Minister felicitated the girls who performed gymnastics as part of the celebrations at Olympic Bhavan, L.B.Stadium in Hyderabad. All the office bearers of Olympic Association, state spots associations, District Olympic Associations, awardees and sportspersons of the State joined the online celeberations.
