Telangana: Government junior colleges students secure top ranks in inter exams

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has released a list of 16 students studying in the Government Junior College and topped in the Intermediate Public Examinations, March -2020 (IPE-2020) on Saturday.

According to the list released by the TSBIE, Erri Suvarana of Government Junior College, Siddpet has topped with the first rank in the MPC stream, securing 978 marks out of 1000, in the second year, intermediate general category. Similarly, in second-year intermediate vocational stream, Nadimetal Mallishwari of the Government Junior College, Karimnagar secured the first rank in scoring 974 out of 1000 marks, in Pharma Technology (PH.T).

Potti Nirmala studying the first-year intermediate in the vocational stream at the Government Junior College (Boys), Siddipet has stood with the first rank scoring 492 out of 500 marks in Medical Lab Technician (M.L.T).

TSBIE Secretary, Omar Jaleel said students in the Government Junior Colleges secured good marks int he IPE-2020 results in the first and second-year results announced by the Board.

He said that the State government is providing free education and free textbooks to each and every student. Lecturers are continuously monitoring the students' performance by conducting frequent tests.

In turn, making them face the examination with confidence right from the beginning of the academic year. He said many students of the Government Junior Colleges in the State have done exceedingly well in both the first and second intermediate in the general and vocational streams.
