Telangana government aims to provide MSP to farmers: Minister Jagadish Reddy
Aler (Yadadri-Bhongir): Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy stated that the State government is implementing three-fold strategy to get minimum support price (MSP) to all farm produces and added that regulated cultivation policy is one among them.
Along with Government Whip and Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha, he attended a preparatory meeting regarding regulated crop scheme at Aler on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy said MSP is possible through uniting all farmers and regulated crop scheme is nothing but identifying market needs. He described Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's decision as a bold step in the history of agriculture in the country.
He asserted that opinion of the people on farming has changed from worst to best by the measures taken up by the CM for the welfare of farmers from time to time. He congratulated the people of the erstwhile Nalgonda district on State Formation Day and aspired that State will develop further in all aspects in forthcoming days.
