Teacher, Sampathi Ramesh, makes Maths subject exciting in MPP School, Rajanna Sircilla district

Rajanna Sircilla: Most of the students find mathematics a difficult, disengaging or even a stressful subject and because of that they often fail in exams.

The students of MPPS (Mandal Praja Parishad School) at Marrigadda village of Chandurthi mandal in Rajanna Sircilla district must be thankful to God that they got a teacher who has made the dreadful subject exciting and thrilling. Now the very subject they would avoid taking about find it most interesting thanks to their teacher Sampathi Ramesh.

Sampath Ramesh teaches the students mathematics by employing innovative methods and using all his creative skills by preparing teaching tools with the materials that are available in classrooms.

These teaching tools are used in teaching primary and fundamentals of the Mathematics subject.

The Teaching tools

Addract: This tool is circle in shape. It is used for doing addition and subtractions. By rotating it students can be taught about additions and subtractions. Learning becomes easy for the students with this tool.

Smile Table: This is pencil in shape and is used for learning tables from 1 to 20.

Maths learning Machine: This is also a circle in shape and is used for doing additions, subtractions, multiplications and divisions by rotating it.

Table Circle: This is the play way method type of teaching tables to the students. By drawing three circles with different colours on the floor, the students are taught to learn tables with ease.

Sampathi Ramesh said that he also prepared tools to teach greater than, less than, ascending and descending order, place values and geometry.

By using this tool, it will become easy for the students to learn the concepts without burden. Students show interest in learning Mathematics.

The principal of the school Shankar appreciated the efforts put by Mathematics subject teacher of their school Samapthi Ramesh and said that the tools which he prepared using all his creative skills will bring a drastic change in teaching maths subject in innovative methods and he is going to become an example for others.
