Tandur: No basic amenities at paddy centers

Tandur: Farmers selling their produce at paddy procurement center on the premises of Agriculture Market Committee on Chinchola Reddy are facing hardships for want of amenities. They allegedly said that they had to dry their produce in the center as officials say there is moisture levels in the produce should be receded.

"But, there are no basic amenities including drinking water and lights. We are apprehending theft of food grains as the compound wall has huge holes in it. We had to go to a nearby hotel to quench our thirst," they added urging officials to come to their aid. When the issue was taken to the notice of DCMS Manager, he said the market officials were the persons concerned to solve the issue.
