Suryapet: BJP accuses Jagadish of using Mineral Fund
Mellacheruvu (Suryapet): Bharatiya Janata Party State leaders Peddi Reddy and Manohar Reddy held both the Congress and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi for the backwardness of Huzurnagar constituency.
On Monday, the duo leaders along with party candidate Dr Kota Rama Rao carried out poll campaign at Vellatur Colony, Seethla Thanda, Hemla Thanda, Revuru and Kandhi Banda of Mellacheruvu mandal of Huzurnagar constituency.
Addressing the villagers, Peddi Reddy stated that even though the constituency has several cement and other industries, the mineral fund of Rs 300 crore getting as cess from the industries of this region have not been used for the development of Huzurnagar constituency by the district administration and being utilised by Minister Jagadish Reddy representing Suryapet constituency against the norms of utilisation of mineral fund.
They listed out the failures of TRS government in the last six years and negligence of Congress chief Uttam Kumar Reddy towards Huzurnagar in his long tenure as a Minister and an MLA.
Party candidate Dr K Rama Rao, in his speech, stated that change in the society was possible only through BJP and urged the voters to support the BJP in the bypoll to see the actual development with the aid of Central government. Party local leaders and respective villagers participated in the campaign meetings.
