Stung by KCR's corrupt jibe : Revenue staff erect board asking people to complain if they demand bribe
Munugodu (Nalgonda): Revenue officials of Munugodu have been advising the people to complain to their superiors if any employee of the office asks money for any work.
In this connection, they set up special boards with contact numbers of their higher-ups on their office premises. Officials has asked the people to complain to Deputy Tahsildar or Tahsildar if staff of VRA or VRO demands money for any work, and similarly complain to Joint Collector or Collector if a deputy Tahsildar or Tahsildar demands bribe.
The staff of revenue department have been feeling a lot of inconvenience due to recent repeated allegations leveled by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on different occasions.
Few revenue officials on condition of anonymity questioned that how far it was correct to make allegations against the entire staff of the department just due to the misdeeds of a few of the employees?
Staff of the Munugodu Tahsildar office have been explaining to the people that they would address the issues of people as per the citizen charter within the frame work that to without taking a single paisa as bribe.
People of Munugodu mandal have expressed their happiness over the revenue staff's decision and advising them to stick to the principles and become role model to other departments.
Deputy Tahsildar Jakkarthi Srinivasulu advised the people to not to give money to staff of the office for any work. He informed the people to complain to him or Tahsildar if any one of the staff demands bribe.
He expressed his concern over branding the whole department as corrupt. "The staff of Munugodu Tahsildar's office is ready to make the office as corrupt-free," he added.
