Student body exults over encounter
Malkajgiri: Student members of BC students association celebrated on hearing the news of police encounter of accused in Disha case here at Alwal by distributing sweets.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Goud, the central committee president of BC students' association, praised police for punishing the accused in Disha case.
He said that the encounter would create fear in the minds of criminal minded people. He said Sajjanar's name would be etched in the history for creating terror in the minds of potential rapists and murderers.
Telangana police would be role model for police of other states and the initiative would increase people's trust over police, he said.
He urged police to kill criminals such as Srinivas Reddy who killed four girls in Hajipur in similar fashion. He appealed to the police to conduct awareness sessions in remotest corners of the state on women protection.
BC students association district president Indran, Lokesh, Bharath, Arjun, Swapna, Pravallika, Manasa and other BC leaders were present.
