State ready to tackle rising fever cases: Eatala Rajender

Suryapet: Minister for Health Eatala Rajender stated that the State government was alert to tackle the rising viral fevers in the State. On Tuesday, along with Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy and Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Eatala visited medical college and government area hospital in Suryapet.

Speaking to the media, Eatala said he along with other Ministers would tour the State in next three days and review the situation. Eatala informed that holidays for one month were cancelled to all medical staff working in government hospitals, and added that government was providing the best treatment to the patients.

He suggested administering of Rota virus vaccine for children suffering from diarrhoea. He advised people to keep their surroundings clean and follow the instructions of doctors without fail.

Stating that ASHA and ANM workers were creating awareness among people about the precautionary measures to be taken to tackle seasonal diseases through house-to-house campaign, the Health Minister informed that all sorts of medical services and medicines were being made available at all Primary Health Centers and area hospitals.
