Speaking on the occasion, TMU State working president M Thomas Reddy criticised that the management is behaving stubbornly with the employees and not taking any initiation for solving their issues. He demanded that the government should merge the RTC with the government and should revise the salaries of RTC employees and to provide job security to them.

Reddy also demanded appointment of drivers, conductors and mechanics immediately. If the government ignores the demands of RTC employees, the agitation will be intensified to teach it a fitting lesson, he warned.

TMU members GP Singh, Sucharitha, J Ravinder, RS Raju, district unit president SR Rao, MP Reddy, Shankar Reddy, G Manohar and AR Reddy were present along with 1,200 members of TMU.
