Six candidates file papers for Khammam Lok sabha polls

Khammam: As many as six candidates filed their nominations for the Khammam parliamentary seat on Friday.
Returning Officer and Collector RV Karnan said in a press release that five independent candidates and one party-backed candidate submitted their nominations.
The independent candidates namely Parasagani Nageswar Rao, Bachala Padma Chary, Nakirikanti Sanjeevarao, Prindipolu Rama Murthy and Guguloth Ramesh submitted their nominations along with CPM party-backed candidate B Venkat filed their papers.
All the candidates filed the single set of nominations.
The other major political parties' candidates are yet to submit their nominations.
