Sections 144, 30 imposed under Ramagundam police Commissionerate
Ramagundam: To keep law and order under control and to maintain peaceful atmosphere, Section 144 and 30 (Police Act-1861) has been imposed from Monday (August 5) to September 5 under Ramagundam Police Commissionerate, informed Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana.
In a statement released here on Monday, the Commissioner said after the implementation of Section 30 (Police Act 1861) under Ramagundam Commissionerate, public meetings, processions and dharnas will not be allowed without the permission of DCPs, sub-divisional police officers or higher police authorities concerned.
People should not carry knives, sticks, guns, explosives or any other such kind of materials which may provoke crime. Using loudspeakers and DJ or any other publicity materials like mike sets or other accessories are strictly prohibited.
The Commissioner further warned that more than four people should not gather at one place and must not carry party flags and shawls. Political parties and others should not organise protests and success rallies without prior permission from police officials. Action will be taken as per law against those, who violates this rule, he warned.
Police Commissioner V Satyanarayana said as Sections 144 and 30 (Police Act 1861) are under implementation from Monday (August 5) under Ramagundam Police Commissionerate, people should cooperate with the police officials for maintaining peace and law and order under control.
