School in Hyderabad declares holiday due to water crisis

A school at Kukatpally declared a holiday to the students on Thursday due to the scarcity of water.

According to the school authorities, the school has been facing water scarcity for the last few days. As they failed to get a water tanker, the administration was forced to send students back home.

An SMS was sent to the students' parents on Thursday morning regarding the holiday.

The Global edge school in Kukatpally has over 2,500 students and is affiliated to CBSE. Meanwhile, the decision of the school authorities drew flak from the child rights activists.
