Sabitha Indra Reddy inaugurates model school
Tandur: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been focussing on education sector in the state to make it a role model in the country, said Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy.
She inaugurated a model school with a budget of Rs 1.28 crore at Inelli village on Tuesday. She also laid foundation stone for the additional rooms for KGBV with an estimation of Rs 1.35 crore, along with local MLA Rohit Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the credit of providing quality education with quality food goes to the chief minister.
She also said that KGBVs are set up for the people who cannot afford quality education. Vikarabad MLA Dr M Anand, district collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam, TSEWIDC chairman Nagender Goud and others were present.
Govt to turn Vikarabad a prime tourist hub
Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said the state government is planning to develop the district as a prime tourist attraction. She visited Ebbanur lake and Bugga Ramalingeshwara temple in the Tharur mandal along with MLAs Rohith Reddy and Dr M Anand on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Sabitha said the Anantagiri Hills are known as Ooty of Telangana and the nearby Ebbanur tank will attract tourists. She also assured that the Bugga Ramalingeshwara temple would be developed on lines of the one in Mahanandi.
Leaders Shibhaprad Patel, CH Ramesh, Kamal Reddy, Ramreddy, Purushottam Reddy, Ananth Reddy Venugopal Reddy, market committee former chairman Ramachandra Reddy, Muthyam Reddy, Granthalaya former chairman Hafeez, Prabhakar Reddy, Krishna Reddy, Sattaiah and others were present. Later, Sabitha offered prayers at Bugga Ramalingeshwara temple.
