Revanth Reddy wins in Malkajgiri, defeats Marri Rajashekar Reddy from TRS

Congress working president and Malkajgiri candidate Revanth Reddy won over 6,270 votes TRS candidate Marri Rajashekar Reddy.

Revanth Reddy who contested in assembly elections last year from Kodangal had lost to TRS leader P Narendar by over 10,000 votes.

In 2014 assembly elections, Revanth Reddy won over TRS candidate Gurunath Reddy by a margin of 14,614 votes on TDP's ticket. He later defected to Congress party in 2017.
