Protest for merger of Regode with Jogipet

Regode: Regode Mandal political leaders, MPTCs, sarpanchs, mandal villages youth and elders staged sit in at Gandhi Chowk in Regode mandal headquarters on Monday demanding merging of Regode mandal in Jogipet division.

They organised 'vanta-vaarpu' protest programme on the occasion. They said they would stage rasta roko to press their demand on National Highway 161 on Tuesday.

They said they would not relent until their demand is met. ZPTC Yadagiri, Cooption member Chotumiya, sarpanch Narasimhulu, MPTC Narasimhulu, Srikanth Naik, M Kishan, PACS former chairman Shyam Rao, ward member Harish, youth association president Suman, vice president Mahesh, Satish Kumar, Jagadeep, Raju, ABVP leader Tuljaram and others were present.
