Private bus driver held for drunk driving during vehicle check in Hyderabad

A private travels bus driver was arrested on Saturday for driving the vehicle in an inebriated state.

The Cyberabad police who were inspecting the vehicles at Puppalaguda toll gate stopped the bus while it was heading to Kandukur with 50 passengers on-board.

However, they realised the driver Yadagiri was in drunk condition and subjected him for breathe analyser test. The blood alcohol content (BAC) of Yadagiri was 216 mg per 100 ml of blood which is above the normal level.

The police took him into custody and seized the bus.
