POLICE-PUBLIC PARTNERSHIP for Safe and Secure Hyderabad

Hyderabad: To make Hyderabad safe and secure city police with the help of citizens is going to start Hyderabad City Security Council very soon. City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said the council will be registered and starts its functioning very shortly.

With the message of 'Every Police Officer is a Citizen and Every Citizen is a Police', on Tuesday CP has invited citizens from various walks of life to his office and discussed public police partnership to make Hyderabad safe and secure. For the first meeting, 400 people including Owners of Hotels, Multiplexes, Malls, Big Business establishments, hospitals, and businessmen have participated from West Zone in the three hours deliberations.

Addressing them city CP said this is a first step in the long journey of police public participation for better safety and security. Joint CP Special Branch Tarun Joshi, west zone DCP A R Srinivas and other officials participated, shared information to the public and sought valuable suggestions from various citizens and groups to move ahead for better safety of Hyderabad.
